The Dilo gas-tight cutting device - the cutting device allows for reliable gas evacuation and is used when the gas compartment of the circuit breaker is thoroughly welded, the circuit breaker is disconnected and must be disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations. I.e. disposed of without releasing the gas into the atmosphere. In practice, a device must be mounted on the body of the switch to be disposed of in order to drill a hole in it. It is then possible to evacuate the gas from the circuit breaker using a suitable service cart. The device is equipped with a DN20 connection for easy connection of a service cart. The large cross-section allows for a fast pumping out of the gas. The device is a useful tool, especially for companies specializing in the disposal of GIS.
