The line trap (LT) is designed to connect equipment of high-frequency relay protection channels, emergency automation, telephone communications and data transmission to phase wires of overhead power transmission lines with a voltage of 35–750 kV. LTs are made in housings made of a special polymer material, which eliminates its influence on the filter parameters; the use of a transformer circuit FP significantly increases the safety of maintenance
Main functions: - transmission of high-frequency signals from high-frequency channel multiplexing equipment to the high-voltage line (HVL) and back; - suppression of industrial frequency signal from the coupling capacitor (CC); - impedance matching of the HVL and communication equipment; - ensuring electrical insulation between the HVL circuits and the input circuits of the communication equipment; - protection of the communication equipment from overvoltages occurring in the HVL during switching processes and lightning discharges; LTs are available in two types - broadband line trap (BLT) KMTL.468829.000 and bandpass line trap (BLT) KMTL.468.468829.000-01.

- The ability to configure parameters allows you to configure the FP for other parameters of the coupling capacitor and line.
