PARMA VAF-A(M2) is a three-phase volt-ampere phase meter that allows you to control phase sequence, take volt-ampere characteristics, and also has an extended range of alternating current measurements from 0.004 A to 3000 A using three types of "clamps".
The PARMA VAF®-A(M2) will help relay protection and automation departments, industrial power engineers, and a wide range of specialists involved in the setup, monitoring, diagnostics, and operation of electrical installations solve the following tasks: - Monitor phase rotation - Record current-voltage characteristics - Measure phase angles and plot voltage and current vector diagrams - Monitor circuits in DC switchboards - Check the integrity of electrical conductors - Perform maintenance of relay protection circuits and power circuits of electrical installations - Monitor the condition and perform diagnostics of DC circuits - Perform phasing when setting up differential protection and connecting current and voltage transformers and electric motors - Check the correct connection of electricity meters - Determine the harmonic composition of current and voltage (up to and including the 19th harmonic).
Recorded values of the PARMA VAF-A(M2) three-phase voltammeter:
- Effective values of AC voltage and current;
- Effective values of AC voltage and first harmonic current;
- Frequency of AC current and voltage;
- Phase shift angles between input signals (voltage-to-voltage, current-to-current, voltage-to-current);
- Active, reactive, and apparent power – phase and three-phase;
- Power factor (cos φ);
- Reactive power factor (tan φ);
- Effective values of symmetrical components of three-phase current and voltage (forward, reverse, and zero components, unbalance factors);
- Circuit impedance;
- Active component of AC resistance;
- Circuit inductance/capacitance;
- Harmonic content of current and voltage (up to and including the 19th harmonic).
