The ETMA UVS-3/5 U1 equipment (hereinafter referred to as the unit) is designed for thermal vacuum drying, degassing, heating, filtration, and pumping of transformer oils used in power transformers and other oil-filled equipment with voltages up to and including 1150 kV. The equipment can be used to heat oil-filled equipment with hot oil, as well as to treat turbine oils and other mineral oils that do not contain emulsified moisture.

The equipment is used at power plants, substations, and other energy facilities involved in the installation, repair, and maintenance of power transformers and other oil-filled equipment. The equipment can also be used in oil storage facilities where transformer and other oils are stored.
